Tradeport Connection Members Participate in Day of Caring

The United Way’s Day of Caring offers opportunities for teams of volunteers to roll up their sleeves and get out there and make a difference. Projects are available at nonprofit organizations, schools and libraries throughout Rockingham and Strafford Counties and Kittery/Eliot, Maine. Live United by joining hundreds of volunteers on this National Day of Service and Remembrance.

This year, Sara Bester, A.V.P. Banking Center Manager – Norway Bank, organized the event for Tradeport Connections, a Seacoast of New Hampshire Networking Group. Members volunteered there time at the McConnell Center in Dover NH on a grounds clean up day. Armed with shovels, rakes and garden gloves we weeded 12 flower beds, planted 80 mums and bark mulched many yard of mulch. In addition, we enjoyed team building activities during lunch!
